Refund policy
1. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your item must be in its original condition: unused, unwashed, with tags attached, and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order. Once approved, items must be shipped back within 14 days from the return initiation date.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, please contact us through our contact form.
We aim to respond within 24–48 hours. If approved, you will receive the return address and detailed instructions for sending the item back within 3 business days. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.
3. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility in all cases.
We are not liable for items damaged during return shipping. Please ensure items are securely packaged as originally delivered. Returns damaged due to improper packaging are not eligible for a refund.
4. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will notify you of the refund status.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 24–72 hours. Please note that additional processing time may be required by your bank.
5. Restocking Fees
A 25% restocking fee applies to all eligible returns once an order has been processed or shipped and is non-negotiable.
If your order included free shipping, the actual shipping cost paid by us will be deducted from the refund amount. The restocking fee (25%) is calculated based on the item price excluding any shipping costs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, even if initially covered as part of a free-shipping promotion.
6. Non-Returnable Items
We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for:
- Items that have been used, altered, painted, installed, or damaged
- Items that have been test-fitted or partially installed
- Custom or made-to-order products
All such items are final sale.
7. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be canceled. In such cases, you must wait for delivery and then initiate a return. Return shipping costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
Custom-built or made-to-order items cannot be canceled under any circumstances.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us immediately so we can assess the issue.
We do not cover third-party installation or service costs. Carbon District is not liable for vehicle damage or personal injury during installation. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
9. Exchanges
To receive a replacement item faster, we recommend returning the original product and placing a new order separately.
We do not offer exchanges for incorrect fitment due to buyer error or for items not regularly kept in stock.
Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for exchange.
10. Installation and liability notice
Due to the handcrafted nature of carbon fiber, fiberglass, and similar products, minor adjustments may be required during installation to achieve proper fitment (trimming, sanding, slight reshaping etc), especially for replacement parts. We strongly recommend installation by a professional automotive body shop experienced with this type of product. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for issues resulting from self-installation (DIY). Products installed by the customer without professional assistance are not eligible for returns or refunds. Items that have been test-fitted or installed, including partial installation, are not eligible for returns or refunds.
