Your Order Is Almost Here — Here's What to Do Next
We pack every order carefully, but damage can occasionally happen during transit. Following these steps protects you and ensures we can resolve any issue as quickly as possible. Please read this before your delivery arrives.
Step 1 — Inspect the Box Before You Sign
Before signing the delivery receipt or accepting the package from the courier, take 30 seconds to inspect the outside of the box. Look for:
- Crushed corners or edges
- Holes, tears, or punctures in the box
- Wet or water-damaged cardboard
- Signs the box has been opened and resealed
- Anything that looks like it was dropped or heavily impacted
⚠️ Do not sign and accept a visibly damaged package without first opening and inspecting the contents — or noting the damage on the delivery receipt. Once signed without a note, it becomes significantly harder to file a damage claim with the carrier.
Step 2 — Open and Inspect the Contents Immediately
If the outside of the box shows any damage — or even if it looks fine — open the package and inspect the item before the courier leaves if possible. Check:
- Is the item intact with no cracks, chips, or broken pieces?
- Is the carbon fiber surface free of scratches or delamination?
- Is all hardware and accessories present?
If everything looks good — great, enjoy your new part. If something is wrong, move to the next step.
Step 3 — If the Package Is Severely Damaged, You Can Refuse It
If the box is severely crushed, punctured, or clearly compromised and you have reason to believe the item inside is damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery. Ask the courier to mark it as "refused due to damage" and contact us immediately so we can arrange a replacement or resolution.
Step 4 — Record Everything on Video
Whether you inspect before or after signing, video evidence is the single most important thing you can provide to support a damage claim. Here's what to film:
If You Noticed Damage Before Opening:
- Film the outside of the box from all angles, showing the damage clearly
- Film the shipping label so the tracking number is visible
- Then film yourself opening the box and revealing the item inside
If You Only Noticed Damage After Opening:
- Film the box exterior (even if it looks intact)
- Film the interior packaging and how the item was packed
- Film the damaged item clearly, showing exactly where and what the damage is
- Rotate the item slowly so all damage is captured from multiple angles
📹 Pro tip: Film in good lighting. A 60–90 second continuous video is more useful than multiple short clips or photos alone. Do not edit or cut the video.
Step 5 — Contact Us Right Away
Once you have your video and photos, contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery. Send us:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage
- Your video and photos
We will review your case and work with you on a resolution — whether that's a replacement part, a repair, or a refund depending on the situation.
