How to Check If a Part Fits Your Car Before You Order

Not Sure If It Fits? Ask Us First.

Fitment is everything with aftermarket carbon fiber parts. A spoiler, bumper lip, or body kit that's designed for one trim level or facelift version may not fit another — even on the same model year. Before you order, we can confirm exact compatibility for your specific car. Here's what we need from you.

What to Send Us

1. Your VIN Code

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is the most reliable way to identify your exact car. It encodes the model, year, engine, trim level, factory options, and production market — all of which can affect fitment. No two VINs are the same.

Where to find your VIN:

  • Dashboard, visible through the windshield on the driver's side
  • Driver's door jamb sticker
  • Vehicle registration or insurance documents
  • Your car's settings menu (on most modern cars with a digital display)

2. Trim Level and Package / Kompletacja

Many manufacturers offer the same model in multiple body configurations, trim levels, or option packages that have different bumpers, spoiler mounts, or body lines. For example, an M Sport bumper on a BMW has different fitment points than a standard bumper on the same model. Please specify:

  • Trim level (e.g., M Sport, AMG Line, S-Line, Base, Sport)
  • Any relevant factory packages (e.g., M Aerodynamics Package, Sport Plus)
  • Pre-facelift (LCI) or post-facelift — if you know
  • Model year

3. A Photo of Your Car

A photo of the area where the part will be installed is the fastest way for us to visually confirm fitment. For example:

  • For a trunk spoiler — a photo of the rear of the car
  • For a front lip or splitter — a photo of the front bumper
  • For side skirts — a photo of the side profile
  • For interior parts — a photo of the relevant interior area

A clear photo in good lighting from a straight-on angle is ideal. You don't need a professional shot — a phone photo works perfectly.

Why This Matters

Even within the same model, small production changes between years, facelifts, and trim levels can mean a part fits one version perfectly and doesn't fit another at all. Manufacturers don't always publicize these differences, and generic fitment charts don't always capture them.

By checking your VIN and trim details against our product specifications, we can tell you with confidence whether a part will fit — before you spend a cent.

It takes us a few minutes to check. It saves you the hassle of a return, a wait, and a reorder. Always worth doing for higher-value parts.
